# Convert More Website Visitors With an AI Demo Agent

Let visitors explore your product, ask questions, and book meetings directly through an AI demo agent on your website.

Tools: Supademo, Slack

Runs: Always on

## What it is

An AI demo agent built in Supademo that sits on your website. It answers visitors' questions about your product, pulls up the interactive demo that fits each question, and sends qualified buyers to your booking link or free trial.

## Who it is for

Sales and marketing teams with inbound website traffic, especially when visitors want to see the product before they talk to a rep.

## Why it matters

Visitors who want to see your product usually have to wait for a sales call, and many leave before they book one. The agent shows them the product while they're on your site, and alerts your team when a conversation looks high-intent.

## Set up the agent with AI

In Supademo, go to AI demo agents, click Create, and choose Set up with AI. It asks seven questions about your website, your goal, the topics to focus on, the pages it learns from, the demos it can show, when to hand off to a human, and where to send qualified buyers. Supademo builds the agent from your answers. You preview it as a prospect, add a trigger that sends high-intent conversations to Slack or email, then publish it and embed it on your homepage.

## Before You Start

This isn't an AI SDR that cold-calls. It's an inbound agent that lives on your website. It shows buyers your interactive demos, so make a few first if you don't have any yet.

## Step 1: Answer the Seven Setup Questions

In Supademo, go to AI demo agents, click Create, and choose Set up with AI. Here's what it asks, with the answers we used:

1. Your website: supademo.com. It scans your public pages in the background.
2. The goal: qualify buyers on our website.
3. What to talk about: visitor pain points, our main features, and outcomes and benefits. Start with three to five.
4. What to learn from: our pricing page and help docs.
5. Which demos to show: let the AI pick from all your demos, or choose specific ones. We chose a few.
6. When to hand off to a human: our roadmap, legal advice, and security details.
7. Where to send someone who's ready: our book-a-demo link, or a free-trial signup.

## Step 2: Preview It as a Prospect

Once the agent is built, ask it the questions a buyer would ask. Check that it answers from your pages, pulls up the right demo, and hands off the topics you chose.

## Step 3: Get Alerted to High-Intent Conversations

Add a trigger: when a conversation's intent is high, send an email or a Slack message to your team.

## Step 4: Publish and Embed

Publish the agent, copy the embed code, and add it to your homepage.

## What Buyers Get

- Answers to their questions any time, without waiting for a sales call
- An interactive demo they can click through, matched to what they asked
- A direct path to book a demo or start a trial when they're ready

## Wrapping Up

The setup is seven questions, a preview and a trigger. After that, every visitor who wants to see your product can see it while they're still on your site.

**Tips**

- Start with three to five focus topics; the agent treats them as priorities
- Have it learn from pages you keep up to date, like pricing and help docs, so it doesn't repeat something outdated

**Gotchas**

- Skipping the preview: ask it a few buyer questions as a prospect before you publish
- Letting the agent answer roadmap, legal or security questions instead of handing them to a human

**Recommendations**

- Choose the demos it can show yourself if some demos are out of date or internal
- Add a high-intent trigger so your team hears about the conversations worth following up
