# Win More Deals With Industry-Specific Demos

Tailor demo messaging, visuals, and examples to show buyers how your product fits their industry.

Tools: Supademo

Runs: On demand

## What it is

A two-prompt workflow in AI Command that personalizes an HTML demo for one buyer. The first prompt rewrites every hotspot around their name, company and priorities and swaps in their logo, and the second edits the captured HTML data, like a transaction table, to fit their industry.

## Who it is for

Account executives, sales engineers and marketers who send demos to prospects and want each one to reflect the buyer's company instead of placeholder data.

## Why it matters

Placeholder data makes a demo feel generic, so it's harder for a buyer to picture their own work in your product. A demo written around their company and industry gives your champion something specific to show colleagues and decision makers.

## Personalize the demo with AI Command

Open an HTML demo in Supademo, click AI Command at the bottom right of the editor and attach the buyer's logo. Paste the buyer's name, role, company and priorities, and AI Command rewrites the hotspot copy around them and updates the logo. Then ask it to edit the HTML data on a specific step so it matches the buyer's industry, and approve the highlighted changes. Preview the result and share it as a personalized, trackable link.

## What the Video Covers

- 0:00 — Placeholder data makes your demo feel generic
- 0:11 — Open your HTML demo (or capture one with the Chrome extension)
- 0:38 — Open AI Command (or use the Supademo MCP in Claude or ChatGPT)
- 0:48 — Paste the buyer's name, company and priorities
- 1:02 — Rewrite the demo's HTML data to match their industry
- 1:19 — Share a personalized, trackable link
- 1:31 — Your champion shows a demo built for their company

## Before You Start

You need an HTML demo in Supademo. If you don't have one, capture it with the Supademo Chrome extension. Have the buyer's logo file ready, along with their name, role, company and what they want to understand.

Prefer Claude or ChatGPT? You can also use the Supademo MCP.

## Step 1: Rewrite the Hotspots and Logo

Open the demo, click AI Command at the bottom right of the editor, attach the buyer's logo, then paste:

"I'd like to personalize this demo for [buyer name], [role] of [company]. They want to understand [their priority]. Please rewrite the hotspot copy around [their use case] while personalizing it with their name and company. Also update the logo in the demo to match their company. I've attached the logo here."

AI Command rewrites every hotspot around the buyer and swaps in their logo.

## Step 2: Change the Data to Fit Their Industry

When that's done, send:

"In step [step number] of the demo, please edit the HTML data in the [table name] to match [company]'s industry, which is [their industry]."

AI Command highlights every cell it wants to change. Check them, approve the edit, and preview the demo before you share it as a personalized, trackable link.

## What Your Champion Gets

- A demo with their name, company and logo
- Hotspots written around their priorities
- Data that fits their industry instead of placeholder rows
- One link they can pass to colleagues and decision makers

## Wrapping Up

Try it on the next demo you send to a buyer. They see their own company and industry in your product, and you approve every change before it goes out.

**Tips**

- Name the step and the table you want changed, so AI Command edits the right data
- Attach the buyer's logo in the same message as the first prompt

**Gotchas**

- Approving the data edit without checking the highlighted cells
- Expecting AI Command to pull in the buyer's real data, when it writes realistic data for their industry

**Recommendations**

- Preview the personalized demo before you publish and share it
- Share it as a personalized, trackable link so you can see who opened it
