New in December ’25: Screen Recorder, Zoom & Pan on HTML & Typewriter Effect

December was all about making Supademo more powerful without making it more complicated.
We shipped a set of updates focused on three big themes:
- More realistic product experiences
- More control over how viewers interact
- More value from a single tool
Here are the five biggest improvements we rolled out in December 2025.
🎥 Screen + Webcam Recording (More bang for your buck)
Supademo now lets you record your screen and webcam directly from the Chrome extension.
This means Supademo isn’t just for interactive product demos anymore—it can also replace your standalone screen recording tools.
One tool. One workflow.
All your interactive demos and video content in one place.
This is especially useful for:
- Onboarding walkthroughs
- Sales follow-ups
- Quick explanations you don’t want to book a meeting for
How it works
- Open the Supademo Chrome extension
- Choose your recording method (screen, webcam, or both)
- Hit record and start talking
From there, you can:
- Share the recording as a standalone video
- Turn it into an interactive demo
- Use it as an intro slide in any existing Supademo
🔍 Zoom & Pan on HTML Demos
This is one many of you have been asking for.
You can now add zoom and pan interactions to HTML demos—making it much easier to guide attention in dense dashboards, complex workflows, or highly detailed product UIs.
Instead of relying on static highlights or awkward workarounds, you can now smoothly zoom into exactly the part of the interface that matters.
How it works
The result is a cleaner, more intuitive demo experience that feels closer to using the real product.
🧰 Redesigned HTML Editing Toolbar
We gave the HTML editing toolbar a much-needed refresh.
The goal was simple: make the most common actions easier to find, and keep advanced options out of the way until you actually need them.
The result is a cleaner interface, faster edits, and a shorter learning curve—especially for new teammates.

What’s improved
- Common actions are front and center
- Advanced controls are still available, just less noisy
- Editing feels faster, calmer, and more intuitive
Just click into any HTML element and start editing like usual—only now it feels noticeably smoother.
⛔ Required Input Rules (No more demo speed-runners)
You can now enforce required input rules inside HTML demos.
This allows you to gate progression until a viewer enters specific text—turning passive demos into truly interactive experiences.
It’s perfect for:
- Onboarding flows
- Qualification steps
- Prompt-based AI demos
Instead of viewers clicking “Next” repeatedly, they now have to engage with the content before moving forward.
How it works
- Select any text input in an HTML demo
- Toggle on Input Rules
- Define character matching or validation logic
⌨️ Typewriter Effect for HTML Demos
We also introduced a typewriter effect for HTML demos.
This animates text so it appears as if it’s being typed in real time—making demos feel more natural and easier to follow.
This is especially useful for:
- Chatbots
- AI assistants
- Prompt-based workflows
The subtle typing animation helps viewers track what’s happening step by step, and adds a layer of realism that static text can’t.
How it works
- Click any text input in the HTML editor
- Enable the typewriter effect
- Adjust the typing speed to match your flow
Wrapping up
That’s December
- Cleaner editing
- More realistic interaction
- Less skipping
- More value from a single tool
If you’re already using Supademo, try these updates in your next demo build.
And if you’re not, this is a great time to start.
As always, we’d love your feedback. More coming soon.
