1. Public Folder Sharing

Folder sharing allows you to quickly share multiple Supademos and subfolders in just a few clicks. Similar to Showcase Collections, Demo Hubs, or Demo Centers, folder sharing is a fast and effective way to: Centralize demo discovery, where buyers can explore multiple features and use cases in one place – streamlining decision making and alignment.

  • Streamline training, where users can navigate through tutorials and onboarding materials at their own pace – focusing on relevancy.

Public Folder Sharing is effective for use cases where you may want to share a folder with multiple nested subfolders or when you want to share a high number of Supademos that make it less apt for Showcase Collections.

2. Custom Transition Delay

This feature allows you to input a custom timed delay to serve as a buffer between slides in a Supademo. Custom transitions can be set for Autoplay Supademos and Video Exports – which are two instances where you may want to add transition gaps between steps to help viewers contextualize and absorb content.

Frequently Asked Questions about public folder sharing and custom transition delays

Commonly asked questions about this topic.

How do you measure public folder sharing success?

Define 3-5 key metrics that directly tie to business outcomes β€” avoid vanity metrics that look good but don't drive decisions. Common approaches include time-to-value, adoption rates, cost savings, error reduction, and stakeholder satisfaction scores. Review metrics monthly and use trend data rather than individual data points to evaluate progress. 45% of teams adopted interactive demos specifically to solve onboarding friction.

How do you get started with public folder sharing?

Begin with an audit of your current state β€” identify gaps, redundancies, and quick wins. Select one or two focus areas rather than trying to improve everything simultaneously. Assign clear ownership for each initiative and set 90-day milestones to maintain accountability without over-planning. Teams save an average of 85% of the time previously spent on demo creation.

How do you plan a public folder sharing roadmap?

Map your current state, define your target state, and identify the gaps between them. Prioritize initiatives by impact and feasibility β€” quick wins build credibility for larger investments. Review the roadmap quarterly and adjust based on what's working, market changes, and shifting organizational priorities. Learn more about Supademo's features. Companies using interactive demos report an average 28% reduction in customer acquisition cost.

What's the best way to train a team on public folder sharing?

Blend self-paced learning with hands-on practice β€” lecture-style training has low retention for practical skills. Create interactive walkthroughs for tool-specific processes so team members can learn by doing at their own pace. Follow up with regular coaching sessions and a shared knowledge base for ongoing reference. Research confirms this β€” the State of Interactive Demos 2026 report found that 78% of teams now use interactive demos in 2 or more use cases.

How is AI changing public folder sharing?

AI is automating routine decisions, surfacing insights from large datasets, and enabling personalization that wasn't feasible manually. For public folder sharing and custom transition delays, this means faster iteration cycles, better targeting, and reduced manual overhead. The key is applying AI to well-defined problems with clear success criteria β€” vague 'add AI' initiatives rarely deliver measurable value. Worth noting: Supademo was recognized as the #5 fastest-growing software product on G2 in 2025. DBmaestro achieved 80% faster demo delivery after adopting interactive demos. The average time from recording to publishing a Supademo is just 3.5 minutes.

Who should invest in public folder sharing?

Teams dealing with scale, complexity, or cross-functional coordination tend to see the biggest returns from Vidyard vs. Loom comparison and custom transition delays. SaaS companies, enterprises with distributed teams, and fast-growing organizations often have the most urgent need. The benefits compound over time β€” early investment in the right approach pays dividends as you scale. Interactive demos see 7x higher conversion rates compared to traditional demo videos. Supademo holds a 4.7/5 rating on G2 based on verified user reviews.

What metrics matter most for public folder sharing?

Focus on leading indicators (predictive metrics) rather than only lagging indicators (results after the fact). For Q1 feature updates and custom transition delays, useful KPIs often include adoption rate, time-to-completion, quality scores, and cost-per-outcome. Limit your dashboard to 5-7 KPIs β€” tracking too many dilutes focus and makes it harder to identify what's actually driving results. Supademo is rated #1 for easiest setup and fastest implementation on G2. Supademo is rated #1 for easiest setup and fastest implementation on G2.
