Let buyers try the product on your homepage

Supademo captures your real interface and embeds it on the homepage, a launch post or a feature page. Visitors click through the product themselves, and the ones who finish land in your CRM as pipeline.

What Supademo does

How does Supademo run on your own pages?

The same interactive demo runs inside your own pages rather than on a page of ours: yoursite.com, yoursite.com/product/reporting and yoursite.com/blog/launch-week. A visitor starts it without leaving the page they came to read.

The demo runs inside your own page

Paste one embed and the walkthrough opens inside the homepage, a feature page or the launch post. The visitor never leaves the page they came to read.

A visitor clicks through your interface at their own pace, one hotspot at a time: Connect a source, Pick the metrics and Share the report. Nobody schedules anything and nobody presents.

Buyers try your product before they call

They click through your real screens at their own speed and arrive at the form, or the call, already knowing what the product does.

One visitor's session, read end to end: Opened, Step 3, Last step and Booked a call. Viewer and engagement data then syncs into HubSpot, Salesforce and Marketo.

You see who opened it, which step they stopped on and who clicked through to the call to action, and the record lands in your CRM.

The job

How does Supademo help product marketers?

Put the product on the page where they decide

  • An iframe or a script tag, so it runs on Webflow, WordPress, HubSpot pages, Framer or a hand-built site
  • One demo covers the homepage, feature pages, the blog and changelog, and a landing page
  • Group several into a showcase when one link has to carry a whole product line, a launch or a campaign
  • Serve it from your own domain, so the link a buyer copies still says your company

One published interactive demo, embedded on 6 surfaces a buyer already visits: Homepage, Feature pages, Blog and changelog, Landing pages, Help center and docs and Marketing emails. It is the same demo in every one of them, so an edit reaches all of them at once. Anywhere that accepts an iframe or a script tag will hold it.

Porter Metrics put walkthroughs across its site and saw a 25% rise in user engagement.

Make it hold up when a stranger clicks around

  • Guided walkthroughs are your real screens, captured by clicking through the product the way a buyer would
  • Guided HTML copies the HTML and CSS, so text, tables and logos stay editable
  • Sandbox demos let a visitor leave your numbered path and poke around the rest of the product
  • A capture is a copy, so blur any customer name before it goes live. Nothing a visitor clicks reaches production

Side by side: a recorded video of your product plays and the viewer waits for it, while a captured copy of the same screen responds. The video bar stops partway and stays there, because nothing in a video requires the viewer to reach the end. In the copy the viewer clicks the field, types "Q3 pipeline" and carries on to the next step. Supademo captures three ways: guided walkthroughs of your real screens, guided HTML demos that copy the HTML and CSS so text and images stay editable, sandbox demos a visitor can wander around. All three run on a copy, so nothing a visitor does reaches your production system.

Proactive engagement

RB2B cut 60+ hours of evaluation calls in its first 30 days by letting buyers work through the product on their own.

Turn the visit into pipeline you can point at

  • Reporting runs per step, so you get the step people quit on rather than a view count
  • Ask for an email on any step, or leave the whole thing open and count the clicks instead
  • Viewer and engagement data syncs to HubSpot, Salesforce and Marketo, onto the record you already work in
  • Views and call-to-action clicks report into Google Analytics next to the rest of that page's numbers

An example of the report shape rather than a customer result. Of 1,000 people who landed on the page, 384 opened the demo, 146 reached the last step and 47 asked for a call or signed up, which is 5% of the people who arrived. Each stage is counted per step, so the step that loses people is named rather than guessed.

One page, one monthExample report

beehiiv converts 20% of demo viewers into signups, 50% better than the rest of its site.

Ship it without a ticket for engineering

  • You record by clicking through the product yourself. No staging environment, no sprint, no code
  • Paste the embed once. Publishing an edit updates every page already carrying it, with no redeploy
  • Fix a stale screen by editing the text or swapping the image, rather than recording the whole flow again
  • Describe the change and AI Command applies it across the library, so a rename stops being a week of work

You paste the embed into your CMS once and it never changes again. When you publish an edit, in this example a new version of the demo, every page already carrying that snippet shows it: here Homepage, Reporting feature page, Launch post and Landing page. Nothing is redeployed and nobody touches the page markup, so a stale screenshot is a five-minute fix rather than a release.

Why do product marketers choose Supademo?

Maddie Young - Supademo customer testimonial
Maddie Young
Director of Growth, Fruition

Supademo Showcases let us make playlists of demos, which is very handy. One demo serves multiple uses: embedded on our website, uploaded to YouTube, and backfilling content in help desk articles. Great, responsive customer service too.

Converting through our experiences at 20%, certainly shows a very, very high intent throughput.

I just told them that, you know, we do this for, let's say we do a video for, let's say, eight hours. And with a tool like Supademo, probably I'll be able to do that in half an hour, even less.

Co-founder & CTO

After embedding Supademo and A/B testing on our website, our session duration improved dramatically with page views increasing by 267%.

Common questions from product marketers

The questions that come up first on these calls.

FAQ illustration

What happens when a visitor has a question the demo does not answer?

An AI Demo Agent can answer it on the page, at 11 PM, drawing on your demos and the assets you have approved. It scores the conversation and routes the ones worth a call, with a summary of what the visitor asked.

Usage-based add-on on paid plans from Scale up, with 1,500 free credits per workspace to start. See AI Demo Agents.

Do visitors have to give us an email before they can see a Supademo?

Only if you want them to. A demo can sit completely open on a public page, or you can put a lead capture form on any step, so the first few steps run free and the rest asks for an email. beehiiv leaves theirs open and converts 20% of demo viewers into signups, 50% better than the rest of its site.

Which way round works for you is a test rather than a rule, and you can run it both ways on two pages.

Will a Supademo actually look like our product?

There are three levels, and they cost different amounts. A guided walkthrough is your real screens captured by clicking through the product. A guided HTML demo copies the HTML and CSS, so text, tables and images stay editable afterwards, and it starts on a higher plan.

A sandbox demo lets a visitor wander the product instead of following your steps, and starts on Growth. All three are a copy taken at a moment in time, so live data does not flow into them. You edit what the copy shows.

Where can we embed a Supademo?

Anywhere that accepts an iframe or a script tag: your website and CMS, a blog post, a changelog, a help center article, a partner page.

Email clients do not run embeds, so in a campaign you share a link or a preview image that opens the demo. The same demo can also be one of several in a showcase, which is a single link that holds a set of them for a launch or a product line.

How do we tell whether a Supademo drove pipeline?

Analytics report per step: how many opened it, where they stopped, how long they stayed and who clicked the call to action. Tracking links tie a session to a person when you have shared one deliberately.

Viewer and engagement data then syncs into HubSpot, Salesforce and Marketo, and views and CTA clicks report into Google Analytics, so the demo sits in the same reporting as the page it lives on rather than in a tool only you open. Our MCP server puts the same numbers in ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, so you can ask which page converted without opening Supademo. See analytics for what each report holds.

Do we need engineering to get a Supademo live?

For the demo itself, no. You record by clicking through the product, edit in the browser, and paste the embed into your CMS the way you would a video.

The one place a developer is usually needed: if your site sets a content security policy that blocks third-party frames, someone with access to that config has to allow ours. That is a one-line change, and worth checking before you plan a launch around it. Copy works the same way: describe the change to AI Command and it lands across every embedded demo without a ticket.

Can Supademo capture an app behind a login that is half charts?

The recorder runs as a Chrome extension, so anything you can reach in a browser can be captured, including product behind a login. There are Mac and Windows recorders for software that does not run in a browser, and a Figma import for a feature that has not shipped yet.

Charts and canvas-heavy screens capture as what was on screen when you recorded, so plan for the numbers a buyer sees to be the ones you chose.

What happens to the Supademo bill when a page gets real traffic?

Nothing. You pay for creator seats, the people who build and edit demos. Views are unlimited on every plan, including Free, so a demo on your highest-traffic page costs the same as one nobody finds.

Guided HTML and sandbox demos each start on a higher plan, which is the decision that actually moves your invoice. Pricing has the full comparison, and annual billing saves around a quarter.

How is this different from Storylane, Navattic or Walnut?

We keep a page per competitor rather than argue it here, and they are kept current: see the comparison pages.

The short version is that Supademo publishes guided walkthroughs, HTML demos, sandbox demos, video and Figma imports from one recorder and one library, you can start and buy it without a sales call, and the AI work goes further than voiceover: it edits across the whole library when you describe the change.
