A Force Multiplier
AI translations are one of Supademo's biggest force multipliers, especially for teams working across regions or serving global audiences.
They make it possible to take a single, well-built demo and localize it across languages without duplicating demos or re-recording content. Instead of managing separate assets for every region, teams maintain one source of truth and scale it outward.
Supademo's translation hub supports more than 50 languages, including regional variants. That makes it possible to reach far beyond English while keeping demos accurate, consistent, and easy to maintain.
Why Localization Matters
Localization isn't just a nice-to-have. It directly affects how demos perform.
When viewers can experience a demo in their native language, comprehension improves, engagement increases, and learning feels easier. Even in organizations where English is the official business language, many people process information more clearly and confidently in their first language.
On the sales side, translations often create an immediate positive signal. Receiving a demo in your own language shows effort, respect, and attention to detail, and that early signal helps build trust before a conversation even begins.
How Translations Work
Once the value of localization is clear, the next question is how translations are handled in practice.
Translations are managed through Supademo's translation hub and are generated using Google Translate.
Languages are created one at a time, which gives teams control to review and edit each language version independently.
Beyond Static Text
Translations also apply beyond just static text.
Supademo's translation system supports translating hotspot text, chapter text, and AI voiceovers. Each language can use its own voice or voice clone, which helps demos feel natural and consistent across regions.
Pairing the right language with the right voice makes a real difference. That detail alone can significantly improve how polished and trustworthy a demo feels.
Delivery Options
Teams also have control over how translations are delivered to viewers.
In the translation settings, it's possible to set the default language based on a viewer's browser. When this is enabled, Supademo automatically detects the viewer's browser language and displays the demo in the matching translation, as long as that language has been added in the translation hub.
If browser-based detection is turned off, viewers can still manually switch languages, or a specific language can be enforced using a URL parameter.
That flexibility makes it easy to support global audiences without creating additional demos or links.
Best Practices
To get the most value from translations, a few best practices matter. Build and refine the demo once, then translate it. Review translations with native speakers whenever possible. Translate both text and voice for clarity and engagement. Use voice clones when consistency and authenticity matter. And use browser-based language detection or forced-language links intentionally.
AI translations make it possible to scale demos globally without multiplying work.
What's Next
With translations in place, the next layer of customization happens directly inside the demo itself. In the next lesson, we'll look at HTML editing, which allows you to directly modify text, labels, and interface elements inside HTML-based demos. This is one of the most powerful tools for keeping demos accurate, personalized, and easy to maintain over time.
If you're not on a Growth or Enterprise plan and don't have access to HTML or sandbox demos, you can skip that lesson and move ahead to branding and workspace themes, where we'll focus on how demos look, feel, and stay consistent across your team.
