4/27: Product Update: Multi-select, hotspot drag & create demos from uploads

We've been working hard at Supademo to make your life easier and more productive with exciting new utility features you'll love. Here are the updates at a glance:

Manage multiple demos at once

First, we know that managing demos can be a hassle when you have many of them. But fear not! With our new update, you can now select multiple demos and: Merge

  • Delete Move them all at once.

That's right; you can now say goodbye to the headache of managing demos individually:

Change hotspot position with drag

Have you ever had a hotspot positioned in the wrong spot on a slide? No problem! Our new feature allows you to drag and reposition hotspots to your desired spot easily.

Hotspot customizations

Default Show or Hide Text Annotations

You can now customize your hotspot with a helpful new text annotation generator to either be open or closed by default. You can turn off this setting to have the text annotation only appear on hover.

This is especially useful for Supademo embeds that are not full-width if you don’t want to cover up parts of your demo.

Hotspot Transparency

Additionally, you can adjust the transparency of the hotspot to ensure that the content underneath it can still be viewed adequately.

Create a demo from uploads

Last but not least, we heard your feedback and added a new feature that allows you to create a demo from scratch by using media images from a recent demo or by uploading new ones from your desktop.

This feature is perfect for creating demos of non-browser demos (i.e. Excel), creating interactive slideshows, and more.

Here's an example of a custom demo we created in ~10 minutes:

We're excited about these new features and hope you are too. If you have any questions or feedback, we're always here to help.

Frequently Asked Questions about 4/27

Commonly asked questions about this topic.

How should I onboard my team to use multi-select and hotspot features?

Blend self-paced learning with hands-on practice — lecture-style training has low retention for practical skills. Interactive walkthroughs let team members learn by doing at their own pace, and they can revisit specific steps later as a reference. Follow up with regular coaching sessions and a shared knowledge base for ongoing support. 76% of teams rate internal enablement impact from interactive demos as high or very high.

What KPIs should you track for 4/27?

Focus on leading indicators (predictive metrics) rather than only lagging indicators (results after the fact). For 4/27, useful KPIs often include adoption rate, time-to-completion, quality scores, and cost-per-outcome. Limit your dashboard to 5-7 KPIs — tracking too many dilutes focus and makes it harder to identify what's actually driving results. 45% of teams adopted interactive demos specifically to solve onboarding friction.

What are the key benefits of creating demos from file uploads?

4/27 helps organizations improve efficiency, reduce costs, and deliver better outcomes. Understanding the fundamentals is critical before investing in tools or processes — many teams jump to solutions without clearly defining the problem they're solving. Start by mapping your current state and identifying the highest-impact opportunities. DBmaestro achieved 80% faster demo delivery after adopting Top Arcade alternatives for 2026s.

What are the latest trends in 4/27?

AI-assisted automation, real-time analytics, and personalization at scale are reshaping 4/27 in 2026. Organizations are moving from manual, one-size-fits-all approaches to adaptive systems that adjust based on user behavior and outcomes. Tools like Supademo reflect this shift — enabling teams to create personalized, interactive content without engineering resources. 96.8% of top-performing demos use custom branding to maintain brand consistency.

How do drag-and-drop hotspots improve the demo creation workflow?

Effective 4/27 typically involves clear strategy, the right tools, trained people, and measurable outcomes. The specific components vary by organization size and maturity — early-stage teams should focus on fundamentals before adding complexity. Regularly reassess which components deliver the most value and double down on those. What tools and platforms support 4/27?

The right tool depends on your team size, technical maturity, and integration requirements. Look for platforms that solve your specific bottleneck rather than all-in-one solutions that do everything adequately but nothing exceptionally. Interactive demo platforms can help standardize training and documentation across teams, reducing onboarding time and support burden. For example, VRIFY reduced enablement content production time by 75% using Supademo.

How do you measure success with 4/27?

Define 3-5 key metrics that directly tie to business outcomes — avoid vanity metrics that look good but don't drive decisions. Common approaches include time-to-value, adoption rates, cost savings, error reduction, and stakeholder satisfaction scores. Review metrics monthly and use trend data rather than individual data points to evaluate progress. 45% of teams adopted interactive demos specifically to solve onboarding friction.
