Ever since we rolled out the Mac desktop app, our Windows users have been asking us the same thing: “When is it our turn?” Well, today’s the day—we’ve got you covered with the Supademo app for Windows.

Releasing in beta form, the Windows desktop recorder brings together some of the core recording capabilities we had on Mac over to Windows, so now anyone can capture their desktop apps, no matter what major OS they’re on.

With the Supademo Desktop App for Windows, you can:

• Record any Windows desktop application
• Capture mobile emulators to create demos of mobile apps
• Record multiple applications side by side in one seamless demo
• Document complex workflows that span several tools
• Create high-quality interactive demos outside the browser.

Just pick any window on your desktop—or even record the whole screen if you’re jumping between tools—and you’ve got an interactive demo ready to go.

Once you’ve recorded, editing works the same way you'd expect – with the same level of design control, personalization, and editing capabilities you've come to know and expect.

How can I try out the Supademo Windows App?

Getting started is simple:

1. Download the Supademo Desktop App for Windows at https://supademo.com/download
2. Follow the on-screen installation instructions
3. Launch the app and select which application or full desktop you want to record
4. Create your recording and it will automatically open in the Supademo editor
5. Edit, enhance, and share your demo just like any other Supademo!
