1. Early Preview: HTML Capture

HTML recording will be rolling out to select beta customers in December. Express your interest for the beta here.

Similar to traditional screenshot and video-based Supademos, you can soon clone the HTML/CSS of your web-based product by simply clicking through your screen. Supademo captures and turns all actions (clicks, typing, dragging, scrolling) into a full-fledged, pixel-perfect demo environment.

Here's an early preview for those of you who are interested:

2. Commenting for Internal Viewers

Collaborative commenting is now accessible to all workspace Viewers – meaning more team members can add comments, overlay reactions, and help perfect your product demos and guides.

View-only members can access comments directly from the view page of a Supademo, while Admins and Editors will be able to also access this through the Edit page.

3. Updated Dashboard Home Page

We've revamped your dashboard's home page to serve as a more personalized, helpful home base.

You'll see tips and recommendations based on your specific use case and get user-specific (not workspace-wide) lists of recent Supademos and tutorials.

4. Programmatically trigger in-app tours

In addition to click-based triggering of any Supademo or Showcase from your workspace, you can now programmatically trigger content using your own javascript events.

5. Usability Improvements

Several usability improvements have been pushed to streamline your demo creation experience, including:

1) Audio and video toggles

We've added dropdown toggles for you to quickly toggle between audio and video inputs for in-app screen recording or manual voiceovers.

2) Sync Showcase events in HubSpot

If you've already integrated Supademo to your HubSpot account, you can now see Showcase views, engagement (including Supademos), directly on your lead's HubSpot activity feed.

On the Roadmap...

The rest of November and December is shaping up incredibly busy for the Supademo team. Here are some features and updates in development: Full HTML demo recording and cloning;

As always, we'd like to hear from you on what you'd like to see on Supademo next. Drop us a feature request through our public board or reach out through the in-app chat through the Supademo dashboard!

Frequently Asked Questions about html capture preview, internal viewer commenting, and usability improvements

Commonly asked questions about this topic.

What is HTML capture preview and why does it matter?

HTML capture preview helps organizations improve efficiency, reduce costs, and deliver better outcomes. Understanding the fundamentals is critical before investing in tools or processes — many teams jump to solutions without clearly defining the problem they're solving. Start by mapping your current state and identifying the highest-impact opportunities. DBmaestro achieved 80% faster demo delivery after adopting interactive demos.

What are proven strategies for HTML capture preview?

Start with a clear baseline measurement so you can track improvement. Focus on high-impact, low-effort wins first to build momentum and demonstrate value to stakeholders. Build feedback loops into your process — the best strategies evolve based on real-world results, not theoretical frameworks. Top-performing demos typically have 10-12 steps with 15-18 word hotspots and achieve 80%+ completion rates.

What tools and platforms support HTML capture preview?

The right tool depends on your team size, technical maturity, and integration requirements. Look for platforms that solve your specific bottleneck rather than all-in-one solutions that do everything adequately but nothing exceptionally. Interactive demo platforms can help standardize training and documentation across teams, reducing onboarding time and support burden. 76% of teams rate internal enablement impact from interactive demos as high or very high.

How do you build executive buy-in for HTML capture preview?

Frame the business case around metrics executives care about — revenue impact, cost savings, or risk reduction. Start with a pilot that demonstrates measurable results within 30-60 days. Use interactive demos to present your results and roadmap to stakeholders — a clickable walkthrough is more compelling than a slide deck and easier to share asynchronously. Bullhorn achieved 2x faster production and a 20% increase in demo engagement with Supademo.

What are the core components of effective HTML capture preview?

Effective HTML capture preview typically involves clear strategy, the right tools, trained people, and measurable outcomes. The specific components vary by organization size and maturity — early-stage teams should focus on fundamentals before adding complexity. Regularly reassess which components deliver the most value and double down on those. Learn more about Supademo's features. For example, VRIFY reduced enablement content production time by 75% using Supademo.

How do you train a team on HTML capture preview?

Blend self-paced learning with hands-on practice — lecture-style training has low retention for practical skills. Interactive walkthroughs let team members learn by doing at their own pace, and they can revisit specific steps later as a reference. Follow up with regular coaching sessions and a shared knowledge base for ongoing support. VRIFY saved over $100k by switching to interactive demos for enablement. Supademo was named the #5 fastest-growing software product on G2 in 2025.

What common challenges affect HTML capture preview and how can you address them?

The most common challenges are stakeholder alignment, tool fragmentation, and inconsistent execution across teams. Address alignment by documenting shared goals and success metrics. Reduce tool fragmentation by standardizing on platforms that integrate well together. Improve execution consistency through clear playbooks, templates, and regular calibration sessions. 96.8% of top-performing demos use custom branding to maintain brand consistency.
