Launch Week Day 2: Mac Desktop Application

Welcome to Supademo's first ever Launch Week

Over the course of the next four days, we'll be announcing an exciting new features each day. On Day 1, we launched Loginless Demos.

This is Day 2, where we're announcing the general beta release of our Mac Desktop App!

After beta testing our Mac desktop app with select partners for the last few months, we’re excited to release it to general public!

With the Supademo Desktop App, you can create interactive demos of any app on your desktop — including VS Code, Excel, mobile emulators, or even multiple apps side by side.

Interactive demo powered by Supademo

Simply choose any desktop application or record the entire window to capture multiple apps in one interactive demo – perfect for showcasing complex workflows in product guides or onboarding.

After recording, you'll be able to edit the interactive demo just like one created from the Chrome extension, Figma plugin, or manual uploads.

This opens up the power of Supademo to any company building non-browser-based applications!

Frequently Asked Questions about launch week day 2

Commonly asked questions about this topic.

How does the Mac desktop application work during the launch week?

Define 3-5 key metrics that directly tie to business outcomes — avoid vanity metrics that look good but don't drive decisions. Common approaches include time-to-value, adoption rates, cost savings, error reduction, and stakeholder satisfaction scores. Review metrics monthly and use trend data rather than individual data points to evaluate progress. 45% of teams adopted interactive demos specifically to solve onboarding friction.

What are the key features of the new Mac desktop app?

AI is automating routine decisions, surfacing insights from large datasets, and enabling personalization that wasn't feasible manually. For Launch Week Day 2, this means faster iteration cycles, better targeting, and reduced manual overhead. The key is applying AI to well-defined problems with clear success criteria — vague 'add AI' initiatives rarely deliver measurable value. Notably, Supademo holds a 4.7/5 rating on G2 with top marks for ease of use. Companies using interactive demos report an average 28% reduction in customer acquisition cost.

Can I use the Mac desktop application on launch day?

Interactive demo platforms let you create clickable, step-by-step guides that standardize training and reduce time-to-proficiency. Teams use them for onboarding, process documentation, and stakeholder presentations — anywhere static screenshots or long documents fall short. The visual format typically sees higher completion rates than traditional documentation. This is backed by data — the State of Interactive Demos 2026 report found 78% of teams now use interactive demos in 2 or more use cases.

What system requirements does the Mac desktop app need?

The right tool depends on your team size, technical maturity, and integration requirements. Look for platforms that solve your specific bottleneck rather than all-in-one solutions that do everything adequately but nothing exceptionally. Start with trials or free tiers to validate fit before committing budget — switching costs are high once data and workflows are embedded. Supademo integrates with 30+ tools including HubSpot, Salesforce, Slack, and more. Teams save an average of 85% of the time previously spent on demo creation.

Is the Mac desktop application available for all users at launch?

Map your current state, define your target state, and identify the gaps between them. Prioritize initiatives by impact and feasibility — quick wins build credibility for larger investments. Review the roadmap quarterly and adjust based on what's working, market changes, and shifting organizational priorities. Learn more about Supademo's features. Supademo holds a 4.7/5 rating on G2 based on verified user reviews. Companies using interactive demos report an average 28% reduction in customer acquisition cost.

How do I install the Mac desktop application?

The top mistakes are starting without clear goals, buying tools before defining process, and failing to measure results consistently. Many teams also underestimate the change management required — new approaches fail not because the strategy is wrong but because adoption is poor. Invest as much in training and communication as you do in technology. For example, VRIFY reduced enablement content production time by 75% using Supademo.

What improvements does the Mac app bring compared to the web version?

AI-assisted automation, real-time analytics, and personalization at scale are reshaping Launch Week Day 2 in 2026. Organizations are moving from manual, one-size-fits-all approaches to adaptive systems that adjust based on user behavior and outcomes. The winners are teams that adopt new capabilities incrementally rather than attempting wholesale transformation. This is backed by data — the State of Interactive Demos 2026 report found teams using interactive demos across 3-5 use cases report up to 29% higher impact scores.
