1. Improved Windows Desktop Recorder

During the month of April, we're continuing to make rapid improvements to the Windows Desktop Recorder (beta), which include quality of life updates like: Better windows management and focus handling;

  • Improved loading states and performance;
  • Support for recording for scaled displays;

2. UI/UX Improvements

We've shipped a plethora of small (but mighty) updates to improve the way to record, edit, and share your Supademo. These include:

Audio support for Chapters

Add AI voiceovers or record manual voiceovers directly to any Chapter step – just like a screenshot, video, or HTML slide.

Reposition in-app webcam recorder

In addition to improved UI for our in-app webcam/screen recorder, you can now reposition the webcam bubble to each corner of your recorded area:

  • Fixed back button: ensure that the back button editor goes back to the last relative step instead of the main Supademo page;
  • Improved UX/UI for syncing hotspot text to AI voiceovers;
  • Open Supademos in new tabs when selected for better usability;
  • Improved Supademo hotspots in mobile devices (landscape, portrait);
  • Optimization of the edit hotspot side panel for HTML and non-HTML Supademos – better highlighting of active elements, auto-scroll to selected area, improved tooltips;
  • Improved selector and editing of invisible hotspots for demo sandbox environments;

3. Performance Updates

We shipped several performance updates that should make your Supademos load faster than ever before. In addition, we've improved the stability of the Chrome extension, improved the output and performance of AI Text and our underying APIs.
