We shipped six major customer-facing updates this month: AI Command, a workspace assistant that can edit demos and take care of time-consuming tasks for you, demo versioning with publish permissions, Presenter Mode for live demos, a much smarter AI Demo Agent, the official Supademo MCP connector on Claude, and a redesigned settings experience with per-demo player controls.
Here’s everything new in Supademo for July.
AI Command: your workspace demo assistant

The headline of this release is AI Command, available on all paid plans in beta. Think of Command as a teammate that lives directly inside your workspace. Instead of clicking through multiple screens or repeating the same edit over and over, you describe what you want in plain English and Command takes care of the work.
A few things you can hand off to it today:
- Apply your branding to every demo inside a folder
- Translate demo text and voiceovers into five languages
- Find your best-performing demos and tag them for you
- Generate personalized links in bulk: upload an Excel sheet of prospects and Command creates a unique, trackable link for every row
Command does more than complete tasks. It can also recommend the best workflow for what you’re trying to accomplish and point you toward the right documentation or product feature. If you’re stuck, ask for best practices and it will direct you to the right support doc or capability inside Supademo.
AI Command is in beta and available to everyone today. Try it on your real workflows, push it beyond the obvious use cases, and let us know where it can improve.
Demo versioning and publish permissions
As your demo library grows and more people contribute to it, keeping track of what changed gets difficult quickly. That’s where demo versioning comes in.
See exactly what changed between versions
Version History now shows the exact differences between any two versions. You no longer have to look at a timestamp and try to remember which edits were made.
When a demo contains unpublished changes, you’ll also see an Edited badge, making it immediately clear that the draft version is different from what viewers currently see. And if you’re about to share a link that doesn’t include your latest updates, Supademo warns you before you send it, so you’re less likely to share an outdated experience by mistake.

Decide exactly who can publish
Alongside versioning, admins can now decide who is allowed to publish. Everyone on the team can keep creating and collaborating, while only approved members can push those changes live.
Because different teams have different processes, versioning stays optional. You can switch it on or off without affecting any of the demos you’ve already created.
Presenter Mode: private speaker notes for live demos
Live demos should feel natural, especially when you have several talking points to remember. That’s why we built Presenter Mode, which works a lot like presenter view in Google Slides.
When you click Present, Supademo opens a private window showing your current step, previews of the next steps, and your speaker notes all in one place. Meanwhile, your audience continues to see a clean demo without any of those private notes or controls.

You control the entire experience from the Presenter Mode window, and the audience view follows along automatically. Instead of clicking around inside the exact window your audience is watching, you can stay focused on the conversation, reference key notes, and move through the demo with confidence.
AI Demo Agent updates for sales and onboarding
The AI Demo Agent received more updates than almost any other part of Supademo this month, with improvements for both sales and onboarding use cases.
Suggested topics
You can now create up to five suggested topics and next steps in the guardrails section. These help guide the Agent’s focus and intent, while making it easier for viewers to understand where the conversation can go next.

For a sales experience, those suggestions might focus on differentiators, use cases, or qualification questions. For onboarding, they might highlight setup steps or power-user features that new customers commonly miss. Rather than forcing every visitor through a rigid script, the Agent weaves these topics naturally into the conversation based on what the person asks.
Agent readiness for both sales and onboarding
We’ve expanded Agent Readiness so it works across both sales and onboarding experiences. Before you publish, it checks the Agent against your actual content and flags important gaps or missing context. That gives you more confidence the Agent is ready before a prospect or customer starts interacting with it.
Qualification definitions and triggers
New intent definitions let you describe what a qualified sales or onboarding conversation looks like, and what kinds of conversations don’t count. That makes it easier to label and filter conversations, understand which visitors reached the right outcome, and set up relevant triggers once a viewer hits that qualification point inside the agent chat experience.

Under the hood, we also improved pricing and capability answers, aligned narration more closely with the card currently on screen, and raised the general intelligence of the AI Demo Agent.
The official Supademo MCP connector on Claude
Supademo MCP is now available as an official connector in Claude, which means Claude can work directly inside your Supademo workspace with far less switching between tools.
Once connected, Claude can refine demos, edit steps, update hotspots and chapters, organize Demo Hubs, pull analytics, and search Supademo documentation whenever it needs additional context. The underlying MCP tools also support secure, time-limited media uploads, so an AI agent can work with files without requiring a permanent public link.

Importantly, edits made by AI follow the same publishing rules as edits made by your team, as long as demo versioning is turned on. When Claude updates a demo, that demo receives the Edited badge, while viewers continue seeing the currently published version until someone reviews and publishes the changes.
You can add Supademo directly from Claude’s connector directory, and we recommend trying it on a real workflow to see how much back-and-forth it can remove.
Redesigned demo settings and per-demo player controls
Back inside Supademo, settings are much easier to navigate. Demo settings are now organized into clear vertical tabs with search, so you can get to the control you need much faster.

Demo replay and demo fullscreen can also be configured separately for each demo. That gives you more flexibility to shape each player around its specific use case instead of relying on one workspace-wide setting.
Also new in July
A few smaller improvements that make the overall experience feel more polished:
- The hotspot editing panel has been rebuilt, and pointer hotspots now stay in the correct position while the page scrolls.
- Video playback is more reliable, and improved voiceover synchronization keeps narration aligned with what viewers see.
- Translations now support additional regional language variants, and translated content carries over when you duplicate a demo.
- Exports match the editor more closely, so zooms, hotspot arrows, and overlays appear exactly where you placed them.
Everything you just read is live in your workspace today.
A lot of what we shipped in July started with feedback directly from customers. If there’s something you’d like us to build or improve next, add it to the feedback board. There’s a good chance your idea becomes part of a future product update.
