New in September 2026: AI Command Turns Videos Into Demos, Agent Widgets & Video Backgrounds

September is our biggest release yet, with more than 10 major customer-facing updates and a dozen smaller improvements.

You can now turn recordings into interactive demos, personalize HTML demos with a text prompt, and put AI Demo Agents directly on your website. We’ve also added more ways to style your videos, narrate demos in more languages, and find what you need in a busy workspace.

Here’s everything new in Supademo for September.

Create and edit more with AI Command

AI Command, the workspace assistant we introduced in July, got its biggest upgrade this month.

Turn a screen recording into an interactive demo

Put your existing recordings to work. Drop a raw video, such as a Loom export or screen capture, onto the Command panel and ask for an interactive demo.

Command finds the key steps and adds hotspots. It also cuts dead time and speeds up typing and scrolling. You can then fine-tune the result in the visual timeline editor.

Personalize HTML demos with a text prompt

You can now edit the HTML inside an interactive demo by describing what you want to change. Swap names, hide a sidebar, add rows to a table, or personalize the data for a prospect.

For example: “Replace the company names in this table with our top three customers.”

Command previews every change, and you approve, revise, or undo it.

Keep your demo in view while you work

Command’s optional docked view lets you chat with it alongside the canvas and editor, with room to see what you’re changing.

Your conversations now carry across refreshes and multiple tabs, so an accidental Command-R won’t erase your work with Command. And when Command needs a decision from you, it asks a multiple-choice question so you can tap rather than type.

Bring AI Demo Agents to your website

Let visitors explore your product where they are

You can now put AI Demo Agents directly on your website through customizable widgets. Visitors can ask questions and get a guided product walkthrough without filling out a form.

Open your Agent’s Share modal, choose an inline embed, popup, or floating launcher, and paste the embed code into your website.

Make it easier to move from a walkthrough to a meeting

Agents now offer to book a meeting in more situations when a visitor shows buying intent.

They also recognize when a visitor clicks your CTA or books a demo mid-conversation. Bookings appear in the transcript, your notifications, and your CRM, so your team can follow up with the conversation in context.

Give your videos a branded finish

Video recordings in Supademo now support custom backgrounds. Choose a wallpaper, your brand color, or your own image, then adjust the padding, rounded corners, shadow, and blur around the recording.

All of it carries through to the exported MP4, so you can use the styled recording on YouTube or LinkedIn.

Zoom and pan, plus video chapters, are coming next.

Reach more audiences with AI voiceovers

AI voiceovers now support six more languages: Bulgarian, Thai, Polish, Croatian, Dutch, and European Portuguese.

Voice cloning now covers Flemish, Thai, and Croatian, so you can narrate demos in those languages using your own voice.

We’ve also improved consistency in pace and tone between steps. A demo sounds like one narrator from start to finish instead of a group project.

Choose where viewers start on an HTML step

You can now keep or reset the scroll position of any HTML step without recapturing it. The control sits in the top-right corner of each step and works on every scrolled container, including those inside nested iframes.

Say you captured a step halfway down a long page. One click in the editor decides whether viewers start there or at the top.

Collect feedback directly inside Showcases

External comments now work on demos inside Showcases.

People outside your workspace can leave feedback directly on a step, keeping their comments attached to the part of the demo they’re reviewing. That saves you from matching a separate message or email to the right screen.

Find demos across your workspace

Dashboard filters now search every folder at once. Each result shows a folder badge, so you can finally see where your teammates put things.

Filter chips read like sentences, and you can combine filters with AND/OR logic or select multiple demo types at once to narrow your results.

You can run the same searches through AI Command or the Supademo MCP server.

Manage team requests inside Supademo

A quick one for admins: team invite requests now stay valid for 90 days.

You can see pending requests and approve them inside Supademo, with automatic reminders to help you catch any you’ve missed.

More improvements

A few more updates that didn’t get their own section:

• Faster embeds. Embedded demos load less code, so they appear up to 50% faster.
• Faster video exports. Video exports render about 11% faster (we didn’t round that up), and long HTML exports no longer hang.
• More accurate HTML capture. Modals, dropdowns, and flowcharts capture more accurately.
• Microsoft Forms in chapters. You can now embed Microsoft Forms inside chapters.
