New in May 2026: Free 4K Screen Recording, Showcases 2.0, Pronounciation Dictionary

May was a big month for Supademo.

We shipped six major customer-facing updates designed to help teams create better interactive demos, product videos, showcase collections, and agentic demos from one platform.

This month’s releases include a brand new screen and webcam recorder, Showcases 2.0, a new pronunciation dictionary for AI voiceovers and AI Demo Agents, faster AI Demo Agent responses, more flexible demo playback controls, and improved video support.

Unlimited free 4K screen and webcam recording

Supademo now includes a powerful new screen and webcam recorder, helping teams replace tools like Loom or Vidyard directly inside Supademo.

With the new recorder, you can capture your screen in up to 4K, record your webcam, resize or customize your talking head, capture system audio, and make quick edits using trim, crop, and split tools.

Once your recording is ready, you can instantly share it with a link, download it, or turn it into an interactive Supademo complete with hotspots, variables, branching, forms, and analytics.

Best of all, unlimited free 4K recording is now available on all paid plans for both creators and free view-only team members.

Custom pronunciation dictionary for AI voiceovers and agents

Third, we added a new dictionary feature for AI voiceovers and AI Demo Agents.

This lets you define exactly how unique words, names, acronyms, product terms, or location-specific phrases should be pronounced.

For example, if you want Houston Street in New York to be pronounced like “HOW-ston” and not “Hewston,” you can add that custom pronunciation.

Or if you want Supademo to be pronounced as “Soopademo” and not “Super demo,” you can define that too.

Once a term is added to your workspace dictionary, Supademo will use the right pronunciation across AI-generated voiceovers and AI Demo Agent conversations.

Why it matters

AI voiceovers and conversational agents are much more effective when they sound polished, accurate, and on-brand.

But many companies have branded product names, technical terms, acronyms, customer names, industry-specific words, or regional pronunciations that generic AI voices may get wrong.

AI Demo Agents are now 2 times faster for responses, with lower latency and smoother real-time conversations.

We’ve also improved guardrails, made setup easier, and brought costs down to as low as $0.51 per 15-minute demo call.

On top of that, AI Demo Agent conversations now support shareable transcripts.

That means your team can review what prospects or customers asked, understand what they care about, and follow up with more context.

Next, we added more demo playback options with keyboard navigation controls.

You can now enable or disable back and forward arrow navigation in your demos.

This gives you more flexibility over how viewers move through a Supademo.

In some cases, you may want viewers to move quickly through a demo using their keyboard. In other cases, you may want a more guided experience where each viewer follows the intended flow step by step.

We also improved caption control positioning.

Instead of only showing caption controls in the bottom-right corner of a demo, Supademo now allows you to choose the positioning per demo, helping make sure important elements or UI items are not covered.

Better video embeds and uploads

Finally, we improved video support across Supademo.

Supademo now supports embeds for native video recordings, allowing you to add video content directly into your demos, pages, and workflows.

We also improved video upload support, making it easier and more reliable to bring existing video content into your workspace.
