Capture and share beautiful product screenshots in seconds

Take a screenshot with the free Chrome extension or upload your own. Crop it, mark it up, and blur private data, then copy it, download it, or share a link.

How it works

Capture, mark up, and share a screenshot

The Chrome extension captures the page and opens it in the editor, where you mark it up and share it.

Capture

Open the Chrome extension on any page, and the editor opens with your screenshot as soon as you take it. You can also upload an image you already have.

  • Drag to select an area or take the full screen
  • Delay the capture 3 seconds to catch an open menu
  • Start with ⌘+Shift+9, or Ctrl+Shift+9 on Windows

Mark up

Mark up the screenshot in your browser before anyone sees it, and add a background when it's going in a doc or a post.

  • Blur or redact private data
  • Add arrows, rectangles, highlights, and text
  • Crop to the part that matters

Share

Paste it into Slack or a doc, or send a link to anyone who needs to see it.

  • Copy to your clipboard with ⌘+C
  • Download it with ⌘+X
  • Create a link, or add it to a Supademo

The editor

Mark up a screenshot without a design app

Crop, redact, draw, and add text in your browser, then put the screenshot on a background.

  • Drag to select an area

Capture only the part of the page you need, or the full screen in one click.

  • Delay by 3 seconds

Check the box, open a menu or a hover state, and the capture waits for it.

  • Blur and redact

Drag over names, emails, or API keys to hide them before you share.

  • Arrows and shapes

Point at the button that matters, or box in a setting with a rectangle.

  • Highlights and text

Highlight the line you want read, and add a label on top of the image.

  • Backgrounds

Set a color or a gradient behind the screenshot, ready for a doc, a deck, or a post.

  • Copy, download, or link

Copy it with ⌘+C, download it with ⌘+X, or create a link anyone can open.

  • Add to a Supademo

Send the screenshot to one of your demos, with no file to download first.

Screenshot or guided demo

For a whole workflow, record a guided demo

The same Chrome extension records guided demos. It saves a screenshot at every click and turns them into a click-through demo with hotspots.

Take a screenshot with Supademo's free Chrome extension or upload your own to the online editor. Add annotations, blur, or a background, then share it as a download, a clipboard copy, or a public link.

Product screenshots are still images of your product's interface. Teams use them to show a feature or a design in a doc, an email, or a changelog without a live walkthrough.

A background makes a screenshot ready for external material like product updates, changelogs, support docs, and training guides. For a workflow with several steps, a guided demo usually works better than a series of screenshots.

Capture a screenshot with the Chrome extension or upload one to the editor, then copy it to your clipboard, download it, or create a link to send.

Yes. Add text, arrows, rectangles, and highlights, and blur or redact names, emails, and other private data in a few clicks.

Open the Background tool in the editor and pick a background for your new or existing screenshot. Crop or annotate it, then copy it, download it, or share it as a link.

Press ⌘+Shift+9, or Ctrl+Shift+9 on Windows, to start a screenshot with the Chrome extension. In the editor, ⌘+C copies the image and ⌘+X downloads it.

A screenshot is one image you mark up and share. A guided demo saves a screenshot at every click while you record a workflow, adds hotspots, and plays back as a click-through demo you share with a link or an embed.

Yes. The Chrome extension and the online editor are free, for screenshots you capture and for images you upload.
